Upcoming Childcare Consultations

Through this project we will visit each region of the province to engage women and gender-diverse parents and guardians in conversations around the barriers they have faced and to begin identifying solutions. We will work with communities to address a lack of intersectional childcare policies as a systemic barrier to women’s economic security, significantly impacting those marginalized by immigration, race, class, and disability. We will also share community informed learnings, including stronger intersectional policies related to childcare, leading to lasting systemic change for gender equity and economic security.
