About the Awards

Formerly called the Women of Distinction Awards, YWCA St. John’s Circle of Distinction Awards relaunched in 2023 to widen of our community of excellence to celebrate the achievements of women and gender-diverse people.

The annual awards celebration is being held on September 9, 2024. Join our circle to celebrate some of our community's remarkable people by becoming a proud sponsor of this year's Awards!

As the major annual fundraising event for YWCA St. John's, funds raised from this long-standing, community-driven event help assist YWCA St. John’s in providing life-changing programs and services. We offer youth programs, services for newcomers and members of 2SLGBTQIA+ communities, employment programs, and the emergency survivor support fund for people facing gender-based violence.
