We can support you with:

  5. Career exploration

  6. And more (ex. find trainings, resources, community, etc.).

What is the Connextions Program?

A 20-week employment program for newcomer women and gender-diverse folks (ages 18+) experiencing barriers to employment.

Connextions includes:

  • A paid 8-week in-person employment skills development group program, including:

    • Resume and cover letter development

    • Career and education exploration

    • First Aid and CPR Certification

  • A paid 12-week work placement in a field of interest.

Program Eligibility:

  • An immigrant woman or gender-diverse person (ages 18+)

  • Legally allowed to work in Newfoundland and Labrador

  • Currently not studying, unemployed, or underemployed (working less than 20 hours/week)

  • Able to attend programming for 30 hours a week
